A Tribute to our Lineage
K. Anthony Elementary School was constructed in 1975 using a former nightclub at 8420 Crenshaw Boulevard. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Margaret and Brady Johnson, Keith Anthony, is the recipient of the school’s name. At first, students in grades one through four were supposed to attend the elementary school. When the school expanded, a fifth grade was added in an annex in 1978, and the sixth grade was added at a later year. Since that time, the preschool and elementary schools have supported the principle and objective that each year should demonstrate progressive yet accelerating growth.
